Split Rock Filter Develops Protoype with SUNY New Paltz

Together with SUNY (The State University of New York) New Paltz, Split Rock Filter Systems has completed the first phase of a cooperation creating a diffusiophoretic filter test device using 3-D printing technology. Eliminating input tubing and pressure issues found with soft lithography lab on a chip technology, the test device proves the scalability of diffusiophoretic filter devices in a real world environment. Split Rock Filter Systems is excited that funding and development will continue at SUNY New Paltz's Engineering Innovation Hub.

Split Rock Filter Systems awarded world’s first patent on diffusiophoretic water filtration technology.

Split Rock Filter Systems has received U.S. Patent No. 10,155,182, covering methods related to Split Rock’s revolutionary closed-channel diffusiophoretic filtration technology. Easy to set up, maintain and clean, Split Rock diffusiophoretic water filters are the future of clean water.
